Christmas 2015…nearly here!

This week is the end of term for Judi’s Studio, Thursday 11/12 being last class. Seems to come around quicker each year, a sure sign I am getting older.

This Christmas I will celebrate the day in Sydney with 3 sons and their beautiful wives, 6 granddaughters and my newest three grandsons…a very special one indeed, we have waited a long while for the boys to arrive on the scene ! Watch this space for our new years photo of the lot…it will be nothing short of a Christmas miracle to get everyone to say” cheese” !!

I am very grateful to all who have attended this year, a special mix of gorgeous country ladies who still love to sew and laugh together!

Glazed Ham to die for…Hope you can read this…an excellent way to impress everyone with a Christmas ham…absolutely delicious and looks fantastic…just a bottle of marmalade and a bit of Muscat does the trick !!

I bought a 7kg ‘Castlemaine’ ham from Coles and it was a huge success. Serve with some of Ottolenghi’s salads from his cookbook ‘Jerusalem’ …’Baby spinach Salad with Dates & Almonds’, and ‘Root vegetable Slaw with Labneh'( available at Harris farm markets.
