Judi's Studio Australia is a sewing school that has operated since 1989 providing sewing tuition in the areas of garment assembly, pattern making, tailoring and overlocking. Beginners and experienced sewers are welcome. Classes are held in our sunlit, air-conditioned studio, overlooking the surrounding garden & hills.

'SEWING FOR PLEASURE' Regular day and evening classes which run for three hours, conducted during school terms with small groups (7-8). Cost per class is $35.00, includes tuition, use of overlockers, pattern library, some loaner machines and snacks. Monday: 5.45pm - 8.45pm Tuesday: 10am - 1pm 5.30pm - 8.30pm Wednesday 10 am - 1pm Thursday 5.30 - 8.30pm Currently enrolling for 2010, several vacancies available. Short courses offered subject to demand during the year. Dates to be announced! PANTS THAT FIT! Achieve a pattern and finished trousers fitted to your figure. Starting with a tried and tested pattern which is made in calico for fitting record. Then cut in selected fabric for a great result, learn about zip or fly application pockets facings and hem finishes for a professional look. The pattern is yours to repeat at home for summer and winter pants, perfect fit everytime. Bring your machine preferred...loner machines are available. 5 x 4 hour lessons $240 (includes pattern) TAME YOUR OVERLOCKER! Back after popular demand. Learn to master 5 important things about your overlocker. Learn about threading, a variety of thread choices, widths and lengths of stitching. Rolled hemming for scarves etc and garment techniques using your overlocker for the assembly. Make garments to take home. Bring your overlocker. 5 x 4 hour classes $240 ( includes resource folder)
